Chronology of cameras Ricoh
This 127 film format camera allows to take 4x6cm or 4x3cm views through a cache provided.
There are several versions of this camera, first called Vest-Alex and distributed by another brand it only allows the 4x6 format.
In 1937 Asahi Kōgaku Kōgyō just fell into Riken resumed its distribution after changing it to bi-format.
Finally in the early forties Riken has distributed it in its network as the Vest-Adler.

1913 | A few Japanese scientists had the idea of establishing a research institute. |
1915 | The proposal for the creation of the Rikagaku Kenkyūsho Institute of Physical and Chemical Research is presented to the Japanese parliament. |
1917 | The Riken Institute and Foundation are established. |
1927 | The Rikagaku Kõgyõ K.K. is created to manufacture and distribute products resulting from research, such as photographic papers. |
